Digital Women Awards

“Digital Women is a supportive, caring, and clever community that will cheerlead and have your back.”

Last year was fabulous for EY Design; I was recognised in several award ceremonies, as a finalist and a winner. But the one that perhaps means the most to me is the very first award that I put my business forward for.

Digital Women Awards 2025

Digital Women

Digital Women is a membership based organisation; they’re on a mission to equip ambitious women with the skills they need to adapt and lead in a rapidly evolving workplace. Since they were founded, they’ve reached millions of women across the globe through events, education and shared experiences.

The community is supportive, friendly, and expanding daily. Their values align with those that I hold in my business, so as a member, it seemed like a natural step to put myself forward for an award.

I was thrilled to be named a finalist for Content Marketer of the Year, and I knew attending the ceremony would be a brilliant opportunity to meet other Digital Women, make new friends, and build my professional network.

2025 Awards and Conference

The 2025 Awards and Conference was held at the iconic Grand Connaught Rooms venue in London. If I’m brutally honest, it was quite daunting going by myself; I didn’t really know anyone, and I had no idea what to expect from the day as I hadn’t been before. As it turned out, most of the other talented and creative women (and a few supportive men!) there had gone solo, too. Many of them already knew each other thanks to the members’ WhatsApp group, but the atmosphere was so welcoming that it didn’t matter whether we knew anyone or not.

The great thing about the Digital Women Awards is that it’s not just about the celebration of individuals' achievements. The first half of the day was knowledge-based, so there were three or four different talks, plus fascinating panel discussions around entrepreneurship and AI. The sessions were CPD-accredited, too.

By this time, I’d got to know the people who were sharing my table, thanks to the ice-breaker exercise that kicked the day off, and the informal networking during breaks and lunch (which was delicious). The Awards started after lunch, and I was thrilled to receive the Highly Commended spot in my category. It was actually quite humbling to cheer on the other finalists and winners - I may not have known many of them at the start of the day, but what really shone through for me was how supportive and welcoming the whole event was.

Digital Women Meet-Up, London, December 2025

I met so many truly talented and brilliant women, many of whom I’m now collaborating and working with. The best thing about it is that there’s no element of competition or any sense of anyone just looking out for their own interests. These women are genuinely interested in finding out about other members, who they are and what they do, and supporting and lifting each other through the good and bad times.

Digital Women isn’t just about recognition, though. They host regular in-person industry events, many of which are in partnership with other organisations, such as Canva and LinkedIn, as well as regular local meetups for members.

I really cannot recommend Digital Women highly enough. If you’re looking to join a supportive, caring, and clever community that will cheerlead and have your back, then this is definitely the right place for you.
